Quit that Monkeying Around

Evening all!
Sorry I have not posted anything in a couple of days, things have been a wee bit crazy at work!!
Anyway, this cute cheeky chappy is a birthday card for my good friend Bazza who is a very cheeky chappy, so i thought that this monkey by Dustin Pike would be going to a good home!

I followed the sketch at Friday Sketchers.. Now i must admit my image came out a bit bigger so the elements did get a bit squished together! But they are all there, honest guv!

Here is the sketch:

And below is my interpretation looking very yellow and very monkeyish!

Here are a couple of artsy close up snaps!

Ingredients

Stamp courtesy of Dustin Pike
Digi image coloured with promarkers.
Papers are from the birthday Papermania Stack.
Sentiment is just typed in word and printed.
Banana and monkey eyes are glazed with sakura white gelly roll pen
Yellow Button is stash!

Hope you like him.

Hugs

Sock Monkey Love!

Happy Saturday Afternoon!
Sorry I haven't updated in a week It's been my birthday week so I have been out and about celebrating!

But.... but.... I have been crafting :)

First one is a manly card! Aren't men just so difficult to create cards for!! Not many of the men I create for like football/fishing/golf etc. enough to warrant a card made out of it so it always gets my creative juices fizzing when I try and create a male card!

This one is for my brother-in-law. I know he likes sock monkeys, and loves the colours red and black so this one was an easy win! The sock monkey stamps are from MyGrafico
Love these lil fella's so much!

So here is my creation.

Here are a couple of closeup shots of the card! The banner is also from MyGrafico

I also made a semi co-ordinating money wallet to go with this.

So the ingredients for these cards!

DL sized cards.
Red and White and Black card-stock
Digital Stamps from MyGrafico as linked above.
Coloured with Pro-Markers.

I have entered this into a Digital Stamping challenge on Do Crafts.

Another Bundle of Joy

What is it with all my friends having babies at the moment!
This is my third baby card in a week!!
My brief for this one was cute, cuddly and pink! I say... CAN DO!

I quite like this little cutie! And it was relatively easy to make! Although my scissor skills leave much to be desired when trying to matt the sentiment at the bottom! Tehehe

What did i do?

Printed dotty paper onto thick A4 card (Pink Petticoat)

Printed large dotty paper onto A4 card (Pink Petticoat) and matted it onto the first.

Used fake lace and a pink ribbon to run down the centre.

"patchwork" background and baby in tub clipart from scrappin doodles. Baby image was printed twice and decoupaged.

Sentiment was done in Word and printed with pictures from scrappin doodles.
Mulberry flowers layered and finished with gems.

I am entering this into a sketch challenge running over Sketch and Stash
I used my new papers from pink petticoat and my new clipart from scrappin doodles

This was the sketch:

Followed it pretty much to the T, just added the sentiment.
