Sweet Love

Hello everyone!

I've been meaning to post for a couple of weeks, in fact I created this card for a couple of challenges which have now passed! Drat!

So I will just get on with it and then drag myself to bed! 5 weeks to go now and I am MEGA exhausted! Not sleeping at all! Argh!

This pretty little card is for two of our friends who have just got engaged! N'awwww!
It used the beautiful Double scoop ice cream from MelJens designs. I love this stamp soooo much! It is so versatile!

Its teamed with a sentiment from Doodle Pantry (Can't remember the set it is from) and the background paper is from a new Hero Arts digi kit called Day at the Circus
Its finished off with some gems and some glamour dust! Voila!

This card is hopefully not too late to be entered in to the Meljens Anything goes challenge!

Speak to you soon!

Rockin' All Over The World

Evening everyone! How are you doing?
Hope you've had a lovely weekend! I've had a lovely lazy weekend!
We had an anti-natal class on Saturday which was fun, and i've managed to do some crafting during the rest of the weekend! Ahhh bliss! I am now on maternity leave! So I am hoping to get some more crafting done in the upcoming weeks!

Onto today's card!
This is for a male friend, who is a bit of a geek and a wannabe guitarist! So I had a look through my 9,000 odd digital stamps.... and found a great Bugaboo stamp ..... then had a little looksie around for some sketch inspiration and came across this weeks Skipping Stones sketch:

I liked the simplicity of it. So with that in mind, I created the following!

Very Rock 'N' Roll eh!?
So what did I do!?

Well!
I used Skelekinz Boys - You Rock my World by Bugaboo . Its coloured, very lazily, with promarkers & some glossy accents on the guitar, which has ended up making it look orange, whoops!

The stars are punched using a Hobbycraft Star punch. The giant background star is cut using my Big Shot and star Nesties!

The sentiment is generated in word using font TF2. Et Voila!
Nice and simple! As you can see I turned the sketch on its side, but you can make out the design still ya?

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sassy Studios - Birthday Card
OSAAT - Anything Goes
CES Challenges - Lots of Layers (Black on Black on Red on Black)
Fun With Shapes - Birthday!
Hotshot Crafts - One for the Boys

Hopefully, you'll be hearing from me a bit more in the next few weeks, well, unless baby boy makes an early appearance :)

Despicable Me!

Hello everyone!

How are you doing?
I'm not too bad ta!
I have a funny card to show you today! A little while ago I watched the film Despicable me for the first time. One of the characters Agnes is adorable and the spitting image of my friend Kim (although she isn't a little girl hehe)

This particular clip below is hilarious, and makes me laugh every time!

It was said friends birthday at the weekend and I was desperate to make her a card based on this! Frustratingly they don't make many stamps of little girls squeezing fluffy unicorns to death haha!
So I had to settle on the image below... just incase you are wondering why on earth the cat is white and pink haha!

Its the closest I could get to portraying little Agnes hehhe!
This card is incredibly CAS! The image was a freebie from mygrafico but i can no longer find it to link to it! The sentiment was created by me. Some pink card and a few card candy bits and that is it! Shock horror!

I saw an awesome challenge over at CAS-ual fridays which is to base your card on a film!

So this card is most definitely being entered into that challenge for the film Despicable me :)
If you haven't seen it, I do recommend it, it is so funny!

I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion: Anything Goes with No Patterned Paper
Digital Tuesday: Pink or Red
Celebrate the Occasion: Anything Goes Birthday

Take care everyone!
33 weeks today! Woo hoo :)

Sweet Love

Evening everyone!

How are we all doing?
I am struggling big time with sickness again! Only 8 weeks left now thank goodness!!!
I'm trying to get a stash of cards done ahead of time so I don't panic later on in the year... Well valentines day isn't exactly far away so i've hardly saved time on this!

I was inspired by an amazing card I saw by Melissa over at Melissa Made
So based on that I was keen to enter the challenge of Hearts over at MelJens this week and I used the beautiful Little Heart Gingerbread.

Here is the finished article!

I love the simplicity of this card and the cute bunting!
The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and is their Tiny Sweetheart Sentiments.
The bunting paper is from 2Peas and is called Beep Bop Boop by Rebecca Bonneville.
Oh and those hearts are hand cut! Eeeek! No punches :)
Lastly!! The graph paper is a kit by Jen Martakis Notebook Basics

Hope everyone is keeping well! I do have one question if you read this far!
Where do you get your kraft card from? I have card blanks but would like to get some sheets, preferably A4.... Can't seem to find anything anywhere!

Off to anti-natal classes tonight so will be round to check out your blogs on the morrow.
