Its Fathers Day Again...

So last night I posted my first fathers day card.
Today i used up my scraps, upset my printer and created my next one!
Very similar, an easel card (I like them)

This card was much the same technique as the previous one! Using my lucious pink petticoat supplies! xx

A friend in need part II

My second stranger card of the day was made with a sense of poignancy.
I found this post by Lisa at Stamped Arts

Her sister Jayme has terminal lung cancer and she really wanted to cheer her up by getting fellow card-makers to send her cards.

Our "spec" was funny and frog! Well i saw the stamp below in Squigglefly and giggled A LOT! So i figured it met the brief ;)

I do hope it puts a smile on her face. My heart goes out to Jayme, Lisa and their family. xxx

What I used!

*ahem* pink petticoat papers
Stamp from squigglefly coloured with pro-markers.
Sentiment printed onto pink petticoat papers and attached with brads.

Love and Hugs

A friend in need.....

So today I have been busy creating cards for strangers!
Not quite as crazy as i sound!

The first is in response to a request over at Dustins Doodle Dragon Studio

His daughters friend was recently diagnosed with MS and needed cheering up!
He wants to present her with a box of cards from all over the world at an event they are holding next month. How lovely is that!?

I knew the stamp I wanted to use the second Dustin said she was a dancer!
Beautiful Matilda from Digital Stamp Boutique! Ahhh love her.

So what did I do?

Printed and coloured Matilda using dovecraft pastel chalks.
Used glitter glue and dust on her skirt
Covered an A6 card in pink paper from ... wait for it... Pink Petticoat <3 Used ripped pink petticoat paper as a second layer. Sentiment is printed from the PC. Mini flowers and buttons stuck down with glue dots.

Hope you like her! And i hope Mckenzie will too!!

Fathers Day eh!

So last night I couldn't sleep so I decided to get on with one of the fathers day cards. Quite excited by my earlier easel card attempt I made another one! This time bigger!!

What d'ya think?

Again I have used mostly, infact all Pink Petticoat goodies! I will try something new I promise!
I tried to give it a distressed look, a little worried it just looks dirty but hey ho!
Some close up images below.

Today I am going to try and make cards for two strangers.
More on that later!!

Baby Boy Blue

Hello again,

Onto my second card of the day!
I created this easel card for a friend who has recently had a boy, I was intreagued by the easel card and must admit it does look beautiful once finished!!
i followed a tutorial here

And i just loved the finished result

Again i used mostly Pink Petticoat stock.

The card is just plain blue card from wilkinsons
Pink Petticoat papers
Pink Petticoat stamp
Buttons from papermania
Scalloped edges from Pink Petticoat
Computer generated text at bottom

I love the keep-a-bility of the easel card. So very cute

Thanks for looking,

Todays offerings

Afternoon all,

Well today I have created two cards!

The first, a thank you card for a friend who had us over for dinner at the weekend. It was lush! The finished product also turned out to fit in with a challenge running over at do-crafts. So i entered it into that :)

Voila!! Isn't it good enough to eat! Hehe!
More pictures below

I have recently discovered, and am hooked on Pink Petticoat Liz's stuff is truly amazing I dont think i will be using anything else for a while :D

I do recommend taking a look!!

All of the papers featured here are from Pink Petticoat
The flowers are also from the Wild Blossoms papers from pink petticoat
The pretty stamp is.... wait for it... from Pink Petticoat. I coloured it with chalks and added some glitter glue, as i did to the centre of the flowers!

Hope you like
