Another Week gone!

Gosh! Another week gone by already!
Honestly... where is time going!
Hope everyone is keeping well?

This card is another Christmassy one! I got all excited by the Hero Arts Digital collections and the amazing inspiration by Lucy Abrams that I made most of my cards using their digi collections!

I love these cute little snowmen! They are printed from the HA Christmas Cookies set
I printed 3 of them coloured their noses and scarves, added some glamour dust to the scarves and then attached them to the sentiment which is from Pink Petticoat. The paper is also a Pink Petticoat one too!

Again, another CAS card, I do like it though, this was one of my favourites :)

Have a great weekend everyone

More Tea Vicar?

Afternoon all!
How are we doing?
Operation Nursery is going rather well! I will do a seperate post for that later, wouldn't want to keep cluttering this one with photos of my sons room hahaha!

So my new craft room is slowly coming together, relocating was fun to begin with but trying to find new homes for things is diiiiiiifficult, and I downsized too!!

This card I have for you was inspired by a card from the amazing Lucy Abrams
She is such a talented card maker! I love her creations!

One of my work colleagues was going for tea at the ritz for her birthday and so I was asked to create a card on that theme and I came up with this:

This is an image from Pink Petticoat called Cake Stand which is teamed up with one of the sentiments from the set Sweet Treats.

The image is printed on to some pearlescent ivory card and coloured with brushmarkers. They've been finished off with lashings of glamourdust glitter and a cute little pearl and some silk ribbon.

I do love this stamp and can see many used for it!
Pink Petticoat is always awesome :)

As you know I use an awful lot of Liz's beautiful papers on my cards, so much so that my stacks of paper quite often get left neglected, but they are so pretty!

If you haven't visited Pink Petticoat before please do, there are some free gifts on the blog here plenty to whet the appetite..

I love the simplistic look of this card, definitely finding that Less Is More suits me and looks very elegant!

I hope you are all well and not too cold with the miserable winter weather! Roll on spring!

I've still got a few more cards lined up to show you, but i'll spread these out over the week.

Lots of Love

Elephantasic!

Evening all!
Hope you are all well!
Yesterday I packed up my craft room ,temporarily, it was still sad, but discovered lots of things I had forgotten about and donated a crate of goodies to my mum!

Operation build nursery is commencing!! Eeeek!
We had one of those fancy 4D scans done yesterday, it was amazing! Here's a sneak peak of our little boy!
Its crazy we are so nearly there! 29 weeks gone on Wednesday!
Anyway!! I am here for reasons other than my baby boy! Haha
This creation was done way back in July but I never got round to posting it as I fell pregnant and well, as you know, was not very well!

My sister in law asked for Money towards their wedding present and so I wanted something nice to present it in, so I created a cute little drawer box!

This was so much fun to make! There is a little dip in the lid so you can easily pull the drawer out, and as you can see I just added their names and the date of the wedding. We also gave them a Wedding card as I didn't want my hubby defacing this with any text hahaha!

This beautiful Image is one I have had for a while in my posession but never got round to using!
It is called Never Forget I Love You by the wonderful Phindy's Place

I coloured it using my coloursoft pencil and the background was my first attempt at trying the sky using Dorcas Designs Tutorial Here.

It needs a bit of work but I am pleased with how it came out and more importantly the bride and groom liked it :)

This is the design i Used for the Box, It is from SplitCoast Stampers, I Just created an easel style card and mounted it on the top.

So thanks all for visiting, hope you are all keeping well!
My craft room should be back in its new location next week, but I have a few creations I have held back, ya ha even a couple of Christmas ones! Hahaha

I am sorry!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I am sorry, I didn't quite get done posting my christmas creations before the festive season was thrust upon me.... Soooo ... you guessed it, I am going to give you more cards to look at :)

This one I created for my husband, incase you didn't know my hubby and I have pet rats.

Here is a picture of my 3 boys L-R Cookie, Haribo and Caramel!
So I normally try and incorporate rats in as many cards for him as I can....
As you can imagine the demand for Rat themed craft goodies isn't exactly high, but cute mice do feature a lot and so they tend to be used the most!

The following card was created using a design by Laurie Wilson for Clear Dollar Stamps called Gouda Day. I have had this set for a long time and hadn't got round to using it! I took one of the mice and then flipped it and created a second and then cosey'd them up so they looked like they were smooching!

Don't they look cute! The sentiment is also by Laurie Wilson but is from one of the Doodle Pantry sets Merry Mistletoe

The mice are coloured using my coloursoft pencils and using paperstumps and baby oil, a technique I am getting more and more used to!

The image is cut using my nesties and also embossed... unintentionally... i sandwiched my stack wrong so it got gently embossed whoops!

The red and green card are from the papermill direct shop and the Holly paper is from Pink Petticoat!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time, it did go to fast!!
This weekend I am packing up my craft room temporarily as the study/craft room is becoming a nursery!! Only 12 weeks til my little man arrives! eeek!

I still have a few cards I haven't posted since before christmas.. plus I am hoping it won't be long before i'll be creating new things... new craft goodies for christmas has me itching to play!!

Speak to you all soon.

Love
