I Love Cuddles

Evening all!
Hope you are all doing okay.
I'm still under the weather! Feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment! But my darling hubby has been looking after me so I thought I would make him a card :)

I followed a great sketch at The Paper Variety

Isn't it an unusual sketch!? Great Eh!? Always nice to have something different :)
I also used a fabby colour palette provided by Rubber Redneck!

Fab selection... Although the photo doesn't pick up the colours very well! I honestly did try to match them up as best I could! My backing paper looks black in the picture, but trust me it looks like chocolate in real life hehehe!
Anyway I hope you like :)

This adorable image is from the wonderful MelJens I love it so much! The picture below shows my colouring of the mice... they are technically mice, but I'm basing them on ratties hehe :)

These two are based on two of my Ratties Apple and Crumble. (Unfortunately Apple died last year, but crumble is still doing really well without her sister)

Here are my two babies :)

So in my card Apple (on top with the red eyes) is on the left and Crumble (my husky) is the slightly greyed rat on the bottom, is on the right!  :)

Me and hubby spend many hours having rat cuddles! So it was a joy to make this card :)

Before I move on to the card ingredients, here are some other challenges which have inspired this creation :)

Digi Doodle Shop - Anything Goes
Design Dollies - Love (Lots for my husband )
Ooh La La - Someone Special (Husbands special I guess hehe )
Delightful Challenges - Animals

The card Ingredients

Stamp: Mouse Hugs by MelJens

Inks and things: Watercolour pencils

Papers: I really can't remember which set these are from! Sorry!

Odds and Sods: Ribbon from Stash. Sentiment is computer generated

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
