Wedding Galore

I, Jennie Whittaker, do hereby promise that this will be my last wedding post..... honest!

(Okay I may have one more left to show you tomorrow)

So here a couple more bits.... firstly back to those colouring books!
I created matching ones for the bride and Groom.... using the adorable Murtle and Shelly from Digi Stamp Boutique :)

I got cute little red and white tin buckets from Hobbycraft and filled them with pencils and sharpener, rubbers etc! I think it adorned the top table BEAUTIFULLY ;)

Soooo what else!?
Well there is also the order of Services. They were a nightmare, the roses I got were awful, the adhesive was naff and they kept falling off so I used silicone glue and some still fell off! Anyone got any good adhesive tips for flowers? I generally dont use them :)

Here they are together with the table name cards! They were fun to do, except trying to find a star punch was a nightmare! Couldn't face die-cutting 100 stars! hehehe

A couple of shots of the order of service! Including those pesky flowers!!! hehehe
BUT the family loved them and thats all that matters to me :)

So lastly.... I bet you're all thinking phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Its the giant table plan! An A1 mountboard that was nearly the same height as me! I used plenty of stars on this one, it looked really good! Shame my photography of it wasn't!

Okay.... so that's the last of the wedding stuff for now! mwahaahahah!

I won't put all the recipe down or i'll be here all night! Hope you enjoyed looking anyway :)

I'd like to enter these for the following challlenges:

Quackers

Hello, Hello!

Hope you are all doing well?
So the wedding is over *sob*
But I have a few more bits left to show you from it before I finally stop talking about it!

You may have seen the colouring books that I created earlier. Well they were extremely popular!! Hehehe! My mum wanted one for my niece, she is only 8 months so obviously it would have just ended up as a chew toy so its been put away until she is that little bit older :)

But she LOVES ducks! Anything duck related she adores! SO I saw this awesome Harold Duck who is a freebie from the Doodle Pantry Store! Wahoooo

I coloured him using Promarkers and added Emily's name underneath.

The inside is very similar to the other colouring books, but here is a little piccie in case you want to see!

It was so lovely seeing all the kids colouring in during the wedding reception and its definitely going to be something I will do again as they are so cute for adults alike (I made one for my mum and the bride and groom... more on that later)

So that's it for now!
I have a few more wedding-y bits to show off in later posts, I didnt have time to post them in the week leading up to the wedding.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weeks!
I will be back with more posts later :)

PINWHEELS!!! Yippeee

I love how this turned out! Pinwheels always cast me back to the beach! Happy Days :D
I did something a bit different for this card though! I thought to myself.... wouldnt; this make an awesome gift! So yes, I created a take-away part!
So yes! You can actually take the pinwheel off and keep it! On your fridge or magnetic board or car! hehhehehe!!

I wanted to put the magnetic on the card underneath so it didn't show but unfortunately it wouldn't stick! Boo Hiss Booo!

None-the-less the surprise is still there!

I took my pinwheel tutorial from this lovely lady's blog.

Oh Dear!

So you know when you start thinking of a design for a card?
You plan it all in your head? You Start working on everything.... You put it all together..... and it looks TERRIBLE!

This... is one of those cards! *sigh* I spent ages on it last night and it was awful.. annoyingly I had left things late anyway so I couldn't creat another card so had to post it to the intended recipient this morning.. I was tempted to sign it anonomous ;)

But I thought I would share it with you lovely people anyway!

So here it is! See what I mean?
Looking at it I wonder if I could have done with making the cake a bit larger? I don't know... Its too later now anyway! But there you go! I followed the colour scheme provided at Colour Q this week. Check out the awesome picture below.

I also used the sketch that was provided by Clean & Simple Sunday Challenge. Check out the sketch below!

Its just a shame about the output! Darn! The cake and the sentiment are both from Pink Petticoat. I used plain card for all the elements from Paper Mill Direct and just matted on to black card from my local craft shop.

I coloured elements of the cake with my green sakura jelly roll pen as you can see from the picture on the right. I didn't want to colour the whole thing in... just give it that little hint of colour!

The one thing I do LOVE though is my awesome new watermark from the wonderful Doodle Pantry... I've been wanting something new for a while and I finally decided to get an awesome creation from Laurie! Yay!

Anyway let me show you the awesome inspiration photo and sketch:

I'd quite like that clock in my house please! Reminds me of something from the Big Bang Theory hehehe!

Anyway, thanks for looking!
