Random Creation Challenge

I've decided that I am going to have a new challenge for myself every week!
i have gained literally thousands of digital stamps and clipart sets since my discovery last year and so many of them sit there unused for various reasons!

But no longer!
Using the great Random.org I will take the random number and use the corresponding file in a craft project over that week... I think I'll do this on a Monday!

I dub this the great Random Creation Challenge

So this week Random.org has chosen number: 576

I will therefore be creating with the following:

This gorgeous creation is Kittens Big Heart by Designed2Delight You can see the set HERE
Be sure to check back for my creation in the week :)
EDIT: If anyone wants to join me in this feel free to grab the banner and use my random number or your own! Just let people know you heard about it here :) xxx

So we got to work with the CUTEST set of little owls EVER! Check them out:

Click on the owls to check them out in the store!

How cute are these little owlies! And so many possibilities !!!! I've created something very different for me, and it took a good few attempts to get it right hehehe! Even though it has very little on it hehehe!

Oh yes baby I've gone all CAS on you! Like UBER CAS! hehehe
Believe it or not this was really hard to do! hahahaha! Like i say the remains of 3 earlier attempts lie shredded in the waste bin!

So what did I do? I just used 3 of the little owlies and printed them directly onto card. I printed the sentiment directly onto the card as well and then drew a border using my Crafters companion!

I printd another set of the owls off. Cut the owls out and then decoupaged on top of the first. Hears a look at the decoupage:

And thats it! I actually really love this.... I think CAS is going to be a new thing I experiment with!
So fly my pretties and create lots of  lovely things with wings! I can't wait to see what you get creating :)

The Design Team got this fab cute little image to work with!

My creative juices got very carried away with this theme! What Me!? Carried Away!? Ahahahaha! Take a look at my creation!

Haha! Told you I got carried away! Anyway this is a 5” square card which I created from scratch, I drew on a rough rockface design and cut the front of the card to to shape. I then popped Mrs Mermaid (I don’t know why I am calling her Mrs) and Mr Crab (from Fred She Said) on the front and used this fab freebie sea background image from MelJens in the background along with the cutsie little seahorse, also from Fred She Said.
Here are a couple more angles for you to check out whats going on here!
Birds Eye View!

Front Row View!

The images and most of the sea background and rock are coloured with watercolour paints. The sea itself is coloured with my shimmer paints, I know any excuse! This is quickly becoming my favourite colouring method at the moment! Definitely one I am beginning to master a bit more!

Anyway onto those tasty ingredients

Stamps: Ella Under The Sea from AIFactory
Sea Horse and Crab – Fred She Said
Sea Background – Freebie from MelJens

Inks and things: Watercoloured and glimmered

Papers: Apart from the blue backing paper… None! GASP!
