Papers: Papers are from stash, sorry I have no idea where they are from!
Odds and Sods: Ribbon is also from stash and Brads are papermania

A Very Traditional Christmas

Firstly let me say that I am very sorry for my silence this week!
It has been a bittersweet week, I lost one of my pets at the weekend, we had to get her put down which was devastating and the sweet side was that I spent a few days away with my niece.

But I am back now, So I am very sorry my lack of a card last week! I shall hope to more and make up for it soon :)

So this week at IDIC we have a great challenge that I know you will all enjoy!

A Traditional Chistmas, so using traditional christmas on your card.
Our sponsor for this week is the wonderful Robyns Fetish and you can get any of the digital stamps used by the DT for free!!!

I chose to use Poppy Fairy and turned her into a traditional christmas fairy!

Low and Behold is my card!

And now for the card ingredients

Stamps: Poppy Fairy by Robyns Fetish
Inks and Things: Image coloured by watercolours
Papers:
These papers are by Stampin Dragon Holly Dayz Set

New Arrival

Good Morning Crafters!

Hope everyone is doing okay, midway through the week now!
Following on from my previous posts, I created a card for my beautiful new niece's arrival.
I found a wonderful website which specialises in paper piecing My Scrap Chick.
There is so many wonderful, wonderful templates on this website, all can be used with cutting machines but they also include PDF files for hand cutting, which is great for me as i don't have a cutting machine.

I chose these adorable templates to create my card.

Aren't they just adorable!
I was a little apprehensive as I am a rubbish cutter! But it was simple, and there are a few tutorials on how to get the best out of the kits! A really great website.

So without further ado, here is my creation!

Apart from almost throwing the scissors trying to cut out the tiny toes and tiny eyes this was an absolute joy of a card to make. I have kept it simple but I love how it turned out!

Card Ingredients

Papers:
All card is just odd coloured and plain card I had lying around
Inks and Things: I added highlights to the elephants and chalked the edges of the card
Odds and Sods: Sentiments generated in word and just printed onto white card.

Speak to you all again soon!
Take care,

Love

Does my bum look big in this?

Good afternoon crafters.

How are you all today?
As you may know by my previous post my wonderful big sister had a baby last week.
So I have been running to and from Medway the last week helping her and mum and dad out :)

But it also happened that it was her birthday this week and my sister loves Elephants (stay tuned for another card later on this week)

I found a brilliant sketch at Sketch and Stash this week which I used to create this card.

So without further ado, I present pink girly elephant AKA Big Sisters Birthday Card :)

Cute hey! And a little bit of photo editing goodness to give it a healthy glow!
I also used my envelope maker to make a cute envelope to go with it, I got the dimensions slightly wrong, but nonetheless it came out very cute :D

So now onto the makings of the card.

Card Ingredients

Stamps:
Does my bum look big in this - Ella by the wonderful Pink Petticoat. This includes the sentiments too!
Inks and Things: Image coloured with chalks, and sentiments chalked too
Papers: All apart from the daisies are stash. The Daises are from Pink Petticoat too.
Odds and Sods: Glitter is Glamour dust and the jewels on the corner are stash :)

I am entering this card into the Sketch and Stash Challenge this week. New, well neglected Stash is my Does my bum look big in this stamp set! First time using it :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
